What is 5-step Multi-Dimension Reading?

READING & applies the principle of natural language acquisition to help our children become bilingual speakers.

Through our 5-step multi-dimension reading, children learn English efficiently as they enjoy reading.

Stage 1. Warm-Up

Before reading, the readers can be exposed to the headwords of the book while playing the sound-picture matching game. The purpose of this stage is to lower the learners’ anxiety for effective language acquisition.

Stage 2. Listen Up

The readers can develop language awareness by guessing the story while listening to the audio. Vivid audio storytelling helps young learners to understand story outline better and enhance reading comprehension skill. Most of the series provide both British and American audio.

Stage 3. Read

The readers can take full advantage of reading in digital - looking up the words in the dictionary, listening to the selected sentences repeatedly, setting different audio speed and accents, recording voices, and etc.

Stage 4. Speak Up

The readers listen to the native speaker's pronunciation and repeat after it to record their own voice. As comparing their own pronunciation to the native speaker's, learners' intonation and pronunications can be enhanced. Furthermore, phonemic analysis report can be provided upon the choice.

Stage 5. Wrap Up

The readers can review the headwords and the storyline through fun quizzes. Spelling check, sequencing, multiple-choice, true or false question and dictation exercise are provided. The number and types of quizzes vary depending on the series and levels.
